Barbaro
This eatery is one of San Antonio’s top spots for pizza. They also serve a fantastic weekend brunch menu. It includes, of course, a brunch pizza. Barbaro is little and famous, well-known for his happy hour and slice of pizza, but he doesn’t stop there. The menu is tiny but powerful for brunch. It includes a rich focaccia-based benedict, fried chicken, and sweet zeppoles. There’s also a playful hashbrown pizza. It is advisable to place many orders.
NOLA Brunch & Beignets
The NOLA Brunch and Beignets live up to its name. You can still order beignets for dessert. The pancakes are sweet, so you can have them too. Examples are orange cheesecake and pumpkin spice. They are open for brunch six days a week. But, there will be a crowd. So, at busy times, expect to wait a bit.
Guenther House
You must visit the Guenther House. It’s in Southtown San Antonio. They have delicious breakfast sports and interesting SA history. The Guenther House is in the historic Pioneer Flour Mill. It serves a variety of their famous waffles, pancakes, and biscuits. They bake them in-house. You may have an all-day breakfast Colorado Springs on their terrace or in the basement of the house.
The strawberry sweet cream waffles are the highlight of the dish. We also enjoy them with fried chicken for a heartier lunch. The biscuits and gravy deserve special attention. They’re tasty, meaty, and very cozy. The restaurant still has the original dining room, tea room, and kitchen of the Guenther House. It also has the outdoor green areas. The house sits along a well-known part of the Riverwalk.
